In a program inspired by Nordic folklore, kings, castles, and unicorns all make appearances along with the breathtaking beauty of the aurora borealis. Join us as we perform charming settings from master composers of Finland, Sweden, Estonia, and, of course, Norway’s Ola Gjeilo.

For Nordic Songs, we welcome guest conductor Joshua Habermann. Joshua Habermann is in his ninth season as Music Director of the Santa Fe Desert Chorale and Chorus Director of the Dallas Symphony Chorus since 2011. Since joining the Desert Chorale, he has raised the ensemble’s artistic profile and broadened its programming to include choral-orchestral masterworks as well as cutting-edge a cappella programs.
